Formed in 1972 and later purchased by HP Mile, Privateer LLC. manufactures identification tapes, labels, and nameplates to rigorous aerospace and military specifications (MIL-STD-1247 and MIL-T-9906). The company is one of only two certified manufacturers of Fluid Line Tapes in the world. We produce vinyl, mylar, glass cloth, and fiberglass identification marking tapes for all branches of the U.S. Military, as well as Sikorsky, Boeing, Grumman, Gulfstream, and Bombardier —to name a few. Privateer’s objective is to deliver defect-free products on time, every time.
While Privateer was growing its niche business in the aerospace sector, many consumer-focused brands also sought label printing services from the company. Label One was formed in 1980 as a subsidiary of Privateer to serve the food, beverage, health, and beauty markets. Initially focused on printing flexographic labels, Label One now combines leading-edge digital equipment to meet our customers' quantity, quality, and logistic requirements. In 2022, HP Mile, Privateer, and Label One became part of Premium Labels & Packaging Solutions.
